The ATOM 938 is able to drill 11/4” (32mm) hardwood holes or smaller. This engine drill can change gears up to 10 times faster than any other brand of engine drill and also features automatic reverse gear which is not found in any other brand of engine drill. This new design technology also incorporates ample safety features. If the engine drill suddenly reacts (severe twisting) due to auger binding or jamming in timber, operator throttle control automatically moves to idle position allowing the operator to maintain control of drilling operation. Added features of the ATOM 938 Drillmaster engine drill include all ball bearing, high tensile steel reversing clutches, hardened and 5 axis numerical controlled steel cut crown gears and pinion and a self-locking collar which prevents auger loosening during use.
